My daughter's first birthday party was an especially meaningful event for our family this year as we have had some pretty serious medical scares with her over the last few months and are SO happy, thrilled, blessed, relieved to have finally come out on the other side. I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate our precious little angel than with an over-the-top fairy dress up party! It was a truly magical day and it was absolutely darling playing dress up with a group of as equally excited little girls.
Welcome to Kinley's Fairy First Birthday!
Kinley's wall of fairy tutu's! I used ribbon and clothes pins to display the tutu's the girls wore at the party.
Each of the girls had their own table setting to include custom made cups with stripey straw accents, plates, napkins, fairy favor bags (filled with necessities every little princess needs, lip gloss, bubble rings, costume jewelry ect... ) and butterfly party blowers.
The birthday girl! It was so cute seeing how mesmerized she was by all the decor and everything going on around her. She particularly loved the bright colored tissue balls hanging from the ceiling.
A fairy party just wouldn't be complete without Fairy Dust! This made a great table centerpiece as well as a fun an unique party favor. I handmade the fairy dust favors (yes, those jars are plastic) and decorated a paper cupcake stand to display them.
Fairy face painting. This was probably one of my favorite parts of the day. Watching all the girls sit ever so still to get beautified.... I was really impressed, and it all turned out so cute! I think they enjoyed it too!!
Fairy sweets and treats....

The cake smash!
Kinley thoroughly enjoyed her cake smash! Being the petitie little princess that she is, she didn't exactly dive right in, but she enjoyed playing with the fondant flowers and indulging in a few bites of yummy banana bread cake!
